Solar Energy and Self Realization (2 hours).

We all have choices. One choice we have very early in our physical, mental and spiritual development is to choose an ethical framework within which we want to live. Initially this choice is by means of free will, but is influenced through family, community, and cultural or religious dynamics and often interfering our own personal development.

A challenge in life is to recognize this at some point and take an objective stance in the way we see ourselves and the world in which we live.

The talk takes us through the basic choices and mental constructs to illustrate how we may start to place ourselves in the wider picture and how we may get to truly know ourselves and seek the truth as far as we can.

The talk is very much about ethics and was originally delivered to the students of Christ Church Grammer School in Western Australia. Invited by the Rev Canon Frank Sheehan, a champion of a universality of spirit and celebration of the positive values of all religions, cultures and philosophies, Garry received very positive feedback from parents and students.

Use of solar energy is seen as one of the universal principles on which we may be able to build a respectful, universally conscious community with capacity to share and develop in harmony with nature.
